TRANSCRIPTION OF TRISTAN'S INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to Episode Five. I'm Tristan White and today we have an interview with an inspiring leader and entrepreneur by the name of Emma Isaacs. Emma Isaacs is the founder and global CEO of Business Chicks. Business Chicks is Australia's largest community for women. Emma is passionate about encouraging women to be bold, to be courageous, and to take risks.

Business Chicks produces over 100 events annually, publishes a magazine called Latte, and facilitates thousands of new connections every week for it's members and over 250,000 who follow via social media.

In 2016, Emma packed up her young family that now includes five little kids to move to California. Business Chicks USA is the newest edition to the Business Chicks family.

I first met Emma back in 2009, when I was first studying my scale up journey with the Physiocure. At the time, Emma was president of Sydney's chapter of the global Entrepreneur's Organisation, or EO. I reached out to Emma and since then I've learned so much from Em on business, on life, on networking, on parenting, and so much more. I feel blessed to have become a friend of Emma's and a long-term member of both Business Chicks and Entrepreneur's Organisations, and my membership of both has got Emma's fingerprints and introductions all over them.

Last year I released my book Culture is Everything and Emma graciously read and endorsed it with a testimonial in the front of the book. This year Emma has released her first book, Winging It, which I've been reading and I recommend you grab a copy, too.

Winging It is about taking action. Similar to the idea of Think Big and Act Small, Emma's approach is a story of action taking and saying, "yes" to opportunity. Check out the book and have a listen to this inspiring interview with the wonderful Emma Isaacs.
