Starting nearly any job is the hardest bit. Thinking less and just starting is often best.
Today I wanted to get some work done in our backyard. The hedge had taken over half of the driveway and the time had come to trim it back. I could think of heaps of reasons of why right now wasn’t the time to trim the hedge. But when is the right time to trim the hedge?!
Instead of putting it off (again), I just made a start. I grabbed a saw, some clippers and got into it. An hour hour later, the hedge was done, the driveway was back and I’d had a ball.
The right time is NOW.
